ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

The University of Wrocław undertakes to ensure the accessibility of this website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities.

Accessibility Statement applies to the website: https://corporeality.uwr.edu.pl/.

Status of compliance with the law

The website is partially compliant with the appendix to the law of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the incompatibilities or exemptions listed below.

Inaccessible content

  • The website contains issues with color contrast – some text elements have insufficient contrast against the background, which may make them difficult to read for users with visual impairments.
  • Some images have incorrect or redundant alternative text (alt attribute), which may cause confusion for users relying on screen readers.
  • In some cases, adjacent images have identical alternative text despite serving different purposes or conveying different information.
  • On some pages, the first-level heading (h1) is missing, which may hinder proper navigation and understanding of the content structure for assistive technologies.
  • The website contains links to PDF documents without proper indication of their format, which may not be clear to users.
  • Certain text fragments are displayed in very small font sizes, which may reduce readability.
  • Some internal links (so-called “broken same-page links”) do not lead to the correct sections of the page.
  • The website includes embedded video content (e.g., from YouTube) that may not provide full accessibility features such as captions or audio description.

Preparation of the Aceessibility Statement

We drew up the declaration on the basis of a self-assessment based on
